MVC Alumna ELL TINSLEY wins National Championship with Biola!

This past weekend, Biola University’s Women’s Soccer Team defeated Indiana Wesleyan by a score of 4-0 to win the NCCAA D1 National Championship in Orlando, FL.  What makes this so special for us at MVC is that MVC Alumna Ell Tinsley is a member of that championship squad as a freshmen forward/midfielder! Boys Varsity Basketball defeats SLV 63-45

It was a great night for all three boys basketball teams as they swept SLV in a preseason match hosted at SLV.  Miles Greene led the Mustangs in points with 16 and added 5 steals with 3 assists. Aidan Ezeji-Okoye added 14 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists while Lucas Schmidt anchored the effort with 11 points,

The Girls Varsity Soccer team put together a great team effort defeating Soledad 4-0 at the 12th Annual Watsonville High School Girls Varsity Soccer Tournament with goals from Kailey Morrell, Caroline Sullivan, Alison Zulaica and 1 own goal.  Syerra Montes had 8 saves. Boys Basketball captures win at Harbor

Boys Varsity Basketball captures a win at Harbor High School by a score of 56-48! Way to go Mustangs! The Mustangs were led by Miles Greene with 21 pts 4 rebounds 3 steals and 2 assists and accompanied by Lucas Schmidt with 9 pts 16 rebounds 3 blocks 3 steals and 2 assists The Mustangs are now 2-0

Boys Soccer with Incredible Win vs. Aptos!

Boys Soccer played an incredible match that saw back and forth action between MVC and Aptos that eventually led to a thrilling 5-4 victory!  Matt Olsen led all Mustangs with 3 goals and scored the deciding goal in the 80th minute of regulation play. Mustangs Play to Scoreless Draw vs. Pacific Collegiate

Last night the girls varsity soccer team hosted Pacific Collegiate School at Mustang Stadium. This was the first official match of the season at Mustang Stadium.  Strong effort by the Mustangs with opportunities to score but ended in a scoreless draw.   Next match is against Soledad, played at Watsonville High School on Saturday, December 2nd

The Mustangs hosted Scotts Valley tonight & walked away with a JV win & a 37-27 win by the varsity team led by Angel Alcantar who had 12 points & 3 steals, Lauren De Los Santos with 6 points & 4 steals as well as Madison Hill who had 4 points & 5 rebounds! Solid effort
